Michael began the study of Craniosacral Therapy with Donald Howitt DO, in Edinburgh and has been practicing and  teaching for almost 15 years.  In 2009 he took an intensive week - long study in phenomenological embryology with Jaap Van der Wal,  associate professor of Anatomy and Embryology at the University of Maastricht in Holland.  In the past Michael has studied with the late Dr Alan Pelowski, founder of the South African Institute of Cranial Studies, and with Tez Sawicki and Keith Farvis, both early graduates of the Karuna Institute,  the main craniosacral biodynamic   teaching body in UK.  Michael's understanding of, and commitment to craniosacral therapy has deepened over the years, and continues to be inspired by his work as a shaman.  He is now teaching a 700 hour Foundation Training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy in Western MA
